Location: Corporate Office is located in Brecksville, OH/position is remote

POSITION SUMMARY. *The Financial Implementation Consultant Lead (FIC Lead) will focus on the oversight, planning and consultative aspects and activities related to financial archives into DataArk. This resource will manage and provide leadership and oversight for a team of Financial Implementation Consultants, including patient accounting end enterprise resource planning (ERP). The FIC Lead is responsible for the development of legacy system migration techniques that improve migration efficiency and effectiveness.
The FIC Lead in this case is responsible for oversight of the projects assigned to them and their team and to assist Financial Implementation Director to ensure the departmental objectives are met. Responsible for project priorities, appropriate issue escalation, schedule and resource management, process improvement and project schedule adherence.

  • Provides mentorship, management, and leadership to team of Financial Implementation Consultants. (*)

  • Contributes to standardization of documentation and training to align with best practices and process methodologies related to implementation and configuration of DataArk.

  • Provides personnel feedback to Financial Implementation Director.

  • Participates in recruiting, retaining, and training team members.

  • Ensures that team project tasks are completed on time and in scope.

  • Ensures all team members are recording time to the project tasks they are assigned to, updating task percentage complete and providing status updates.

  • Approves team member timesheets on a weekly basis ensuring consistency in team expectations of project and general time categories.

  • Completes annual performance reviews on team members and review with FIC Director.

  • Participates in Implementation projects as needed to stay current with projects and processes related to implementing financial archives.

  • Conducts regular team meetings according to stated expectations with prepared agenda and a defined meeting purpose.

  • Conducts regular 1:1 meetings for all team members according to expectations as defined; frequency will be based on each employee’s tenure or performance need. The purpose of these meetings is to establish personal connections, act as a project/technical reference, and create/manage employee’s professional development goals.



  • Provides planning and oversight for all Financial IC team members on a project level and enterprise level client education, scope confirmation and high-level requirements gathering. (*)

  • Performs all job tasks associated with Implementation Consultants, and steps into tasks as needed.

  • Provides preparation and guidance for projects for team and incorporates them into the normal process flow.

  • Assigns DataArk IC team members to projects.

  • Develops and evaluates tools and processes to improve IC activities. Develops new processes end to end and educates team members on new processes for adoption by the team.

  • Provides training, mentoring, and coaching to other team members.

  • Effectively validates work of team members for accuracy, understanding where opportunities for errors exist; is responsible for ensuring that work is error-free.

  • Uses experience and expertise sufficient to intrinsically know the data and manage the standard validation process.

  • Provides oversight and management to other team members on solving problems and keeping projects moving.

  • Lead the development of validation processes that improve accuracy and efficiency of data migrations.



  • Organization and Time Management - handles multiple projects and prioritizes deadlines. (*)

  • Identifies and utilizes all resources available when priorities conflict or when external challenges are lining up against the deadline. Must be able to clearly communicate the issue, and tenacious in finding resolution.

  • Handles a fluctuating workload and can prioritize during times of peak demand and conflicting priorities. Understands when to seek assistance to ensure deadlines are met and a quality product is delivered.



  • Communicate clearly with internal customers – understands the importance of keeping all team members apprised of the project status and building team camaraderie. (*)

  • Applies financial knowledge and seeks to fully understand the client’s expectations by asking questions from identified project resources. Works as the migration expert on the implementation team along with sales and support.

  • Laisse with data modelers, application developers and the Project Management Office to create methodology for meeting client needs.

  • Work closely with Development and Product Management to help define archive functionality that will best accommodate DataArk product objectives that also work effectively with the various data structures encountered with systems being decommissioned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent work experience required. An Associate Degree plus 3-5 year of experience may be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree.

  • Working knowledge of financial workflow specifically as it relates to functions performed within a traditional hospital or medical provider billing and finance office

  • Previous experience in a team lead role (3-5 years); proven ability to lead and mentor team members.

  • Mid-level knowledge of SQL (*)

  • Utilizes knowledge of tables and normalization to locate and QA data

  • Uses SQL to diagnose and solve data integrity issues.



  • Experienced with all aspects of DataArk financial implementations.

  • Understanding of databases, data structures, data types and how data relationships function as it relates to DataArk requirements.

  • Experienced with the implementation and/or support of Financial data conversions or interfaces.

  • Experienced at working in concert with cross-functional project team members

Supervisory Responsibility. Where clearly defined, the Lead role has technical supervisory responsibilities over team members for project task work and other technical tasks as needed.
Work Environment. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without accommodation.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, must be able to stand, walk, occasionally kneel, stoop or crouch; use hands to key information, touch, feel and type. Must be able to communicate effectively, including hearing, listening, seeing, and speaking clearly.
Must be able to analyze, memorize, problem solve, read, and perform simple to complex math.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work. This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work a minimum of 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
