As a Principal Product Manager for Digital Solutions, you will lead the strategy, definition, and roadmap for one or more products within the OM1 digital platform. You will work with customers, the go to market team, and other cross functional leaders to understand and incorporate business, market, and customer needs into the product. You will work with user experience and engineering to define the capabilities and user stories that will create a compelling solution for our customers. You’ll act as a product owner, working with engineering to manage the team backlog, prioritization, scoping, and scheduling of work. As a senior leader, you will continually improve product management tools and best practices, as well as mentoring and guiding other product managers within the team.

The digital solutions product team partners with engineering to develop the internal platform for data acquisition, processing, and access to maximize the velocity of OM1’s data business. They work with customers and stakeholders to develop market-leading end-user solutions, including a patient experience application, study management platform, research platform, and personalized AI insights. The team is highly collaborative with other teams to ensure we’re building the right solutions for our internal stakeholders and external users. They facilitate a culture of mentorship and continuous learning that betters our understanding of our markets and users while evolving our product management methodology to maximize our impact.

What You'll Do

• With product marketing and commercialization teams, shape the strategy and roadmap for one or more digital products


• Provide leadership and drive market differentiation of the products you manage


• Work cross-functionally to discover, validate, document and prioritize requirements from internal and external sources, aligned with the product vision


• Work directly with or as product owner of an agile development team to set product direction, generate user stories, manage backlogs, set priorities, define acceptance criteria, and deliver against roadmap commitments


• Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues


• Identify gaps and propose improvements to product management and Agile methodologies within the organization


• With user experience, help design and validate the user interface for end user products


• Present the product, business or technology to various audiences, including investors, customers or potential customers, industry associations or colleagues

What You Should Have

• Deep expertise in product management and best practices such as Lean Product and Pragmatic Marketing, user persona definition, user stories, acceptance criteria, and more


• Experience as a product owner managing the backlog for a team in an Agile scrum model, including grooming, prioritization, and refinement


• Experience building end user solutions with a visual UI component


• Experience developing SaaS products and best practices, such as user analytics, feature flagging, and continuous deployment


• Experience working with user experience designers, including information architecture, interaction design, and visual design
