Overview An exciting opportunity to join the client data distribution team, which sends information about the bank’s client throughout the bank, in automating tests for the next generation of APIs. The new micro-service design uses gRPC and REST with Spring Reactor and Kafka under the hood. Distribution via on premise Hadoop is already in place and up next is the migration of client data to the Google cloud – this dynamic, happy team released the first application to Google Cloud last month. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a cross-functional QA team, closely collaborating with development and DevOps teams to understand requirements, ensure testability, design test solutions, implement, and support them
- Responsible for building and leading multiple phases of testing (E2E/Regression/System & Performance) for Web based applications, focused on Test Automation and continuous integration/continuous development (CICD)
- Ability to clearly articulate and report test results to variety of stakeholders
- Proven Cross Tier automation experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-energy team environment
- Ability to learn and adapt new technology and programming skills
- Help your team build, test, and release software with the short lead times and promoting shift-left testing; work to develop and maintain a highly automated Continuous Testing pipeline
Your Skills and Experience:
- Extensive QA industry experience, you must have Technical hands-on skills with Test Automation
- Experience working with senior management and stakeholders
- Senior level hands on engineering and development skills for Functional test automation, Cross-tier Performance testing, designing frameworks, scripting, and monitoring, utilizing tool sets like Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, behavior driven development (BDD), or any equivalent platform
- Hands on experience with Git/BitBucket, any development IDEs such as Eclipse/Intellij, and build tools such as Maven etc
- Coding experience with any Object-Oriented Programming language (C/Java/TypeScript/Python) and performing code reviews
