The Software Engineer in this role is expected to design, develop and build applications that provide financial valuation, pricing, and portfolio management capabilities for fixed income mortgage products. This individual will be part of the Global Securitized Products Group (SPG) technology group, a highly specialized team working in a fast paced, business facing environment, providing high impact software solutions catered to the fixed income and mortgage domains. The team is dedicated to the delivery of functionality that drives revenue for the bank and increases business automation and efficiency while maintaining focus on strategic technology deliverables for business users.
Either strong frontend or backend developer who are willing to venture into the other side over time will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java
- Strong knowledge React/Angular
- Knowledge or willingness to venture into AWS
- Knowledge of a database (Preferably Cassandra or a relational DB)
- Handle on DevOps (Jenkins, Maven etc)
- Good communication skills
- Good stakeholder management including business partnership
- Securitized products knowledge
- Fixed income products knowledge
