What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world! In this vital role you will the Incentive Compensation Data Strategy and Analytics Lead will be responsible for the administration of the data strategy and data governance for the incentive compensation (IC) program. This position will unify and manage the IC data deliverables, including analytics, managing field-based data inquiries, in partnership with external vendors to administer the program. This role will also act as a strategic partner with business leadership and provide guidance and recommendations based on analytics that align with corporate objectives in a legal and compliant manner.

Essential responsibilities include, but not limited to:



  • Leads the overarching Incentive Compensation data strategy

  • Works with IC Director, IC Leads, Sales Leadership and Vendor Partner to assess data coverage, gaps and opportunities for data acquisitions

  • Partners with the data acquisition and data management teams on IC data purchases and the specialty pharmacy process

  • Make presentations related to the IC data strategy as needed to sales leadership and provides regular updates on data coverage

  • Works in partnership with iDNA and IS teams in the management of IC data requirements and enhancements

  • Leads the IC quarterly planning and product launch process in collaboration with the cross systems team

  • Responsible for the execution and oversight of the IC inquiry process

  • Responsible for the management of the goals and baseline process with the supplier partner, in collaboration with finance and commercial strategy

  • Responsible for the management of the IC data hub and sales crediting

  • Leads the cross business unit IC collaboration support

  • Works with the IC Leads and supplier partners for operational support, ad hoc projects, proactive analytics and reporting

  • Program and supplier lead for the field-based Performance Rewards system

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of finance, sales & marketing operations and/or data analytics experience
Or
Master's degree and 4 years of finance, sales & marketing operations and/or data analytics experience
Or
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of finance, sales & marketing operations and/or data analytics experience
Or
Associate degree and 10 years of finance, sales & marketing operations and/or data analytics experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of finance, sales & marketing operations and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with IC Design and Administration, data management, business analysis, and solution design/development

  • 7+ years of experience solving business problems and analyzing data

  • 5+ years of experience working in Sales Operations or IC/Business Analytics/Intelligence within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

  • Deep knowledge of Pharmaceutical data including DDD, Xponent, and charge back data

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the capability to appropriately define issues, questions, and data; to comprehend qualitative and quantitative methods to perform accurate analysis

  • Experience, knowledge, and skills related to defining and optimizing reporting and analytical needs, deploying action plans, and determining future capabilities

  • Experience in being comfortable with engaging in strategic discussions around business decisions related to IC with leadership and in making leadership presentations

  • Expertise in Microsoft products Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
