Seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer II for our Cloud Operations Transformation and Compliance team. You will be part of the team that is responsible for the data management and tooling used by the Cloud operations team to operate network devices, circuits, servers, storage, patching, compliance, and other operational activities. Senior Infrastructure Engineer II Responsibilities- Design and develop data strategy and database systems that meet the needs of the Cloud Operations teams and Tech partners
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver technical capabilities, reporting, and automation of processes
- Function as member of a development team by contributing to database builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
- Utilize and define operational best practices, requirements and associated documentation – ensure all processes are clear and auditable
- Influence the future direction of Cloud Operations data management
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and enthusiasm in developing best-in-class technology services
- Demonstrate well-rounded technical understanding of Midrange and Storage environment including but not limited to hypervisors, operating systems, databases, monitoring, basic network terminology, Active Directory, and storage technology
- Actively monitor quality of service and drive corrective actions and process enhancements to improve performance and availability

- 6-8 years of database experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience
- Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, .Net, API creation and consumption
- Hands-on experience with data visualization, dashboard design, and software development
- Exposure to distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
- Familiar with ITIL processes, Service Now, and database application programming
- Experience with object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages (.NET, ASP.NET, Web Service, Web API, WCF, Multithreading, JavaScript, Jquery, HTML5)
- Experience with Python
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
- Bachelors in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred
- Aptitude to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
