We are looking for a mid to senior-level Python developer with 4+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of experience using the Django framework. They should also have experience designing a web application and/or website from scratch. We are primarily looking for backend developers, but any frontend experience is a plus.
This is a fully remote position. However, we are looking for people within the Eastern Standard Time zone since all the dev team members are on the East Coast.
Key responsibilities

• Build web applications using Python


• Maintain existing web properties and scripts


• Provide support to remote users


• Help mentor junior developers

Qualifications and skills

• 4+ years of experience with Python development


• 2+ years of experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS, etc.)


• 1+ years using distributed version control systems such as Git or Mercurial


• 1+ years of experience working with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, Vue JS, and jQuery


• 2+ years of experience designing and using a relational database (i.e., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL)


• 1+ years of experience developing in a web framework such as Django or Flask


• Ability to solve problems quickly


• Ability to work independently and in a team


• Ability to work in an agile environment

Plusses

• 1+ years of PHP or ASP.net development experience


• DevOps experience designing and building a CI/CD process


• 1+ years experience with a NoSQL database


• 2+ years of Django (or Flask) development experience
