And now we're adding a SUPPORT SPECIALIST to add to our team.
This job is 100% work-remote, however applicant must reside in the State of Wisconsin to be considered for the role. Applicants not based in WI will not be considered.This individual will drive wpDuo’s customer service & website support by providing great customer service, conducting WordPress backups and plugin updates, and making content and image updates to WordPress website platforms. It’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives blending customer service with technology.
The Support Specialist is responsible for providing service and website edits for our customers. When a ticket comes in, the Support Specialist is the first line of customer service and communication. The Support Specialist also will work on misc website tasks as needed, and also perform all necessary monthly updates to WordPress and plugins for our customers.
Essential Functions:
- First Response Support & Customer Service
- Front-line communication with wpDuo Clients.
- Receive Support inbox messages and calls from clients.
- Perform requested updates to clients’ websites.
- Provide great customer service.
- Perform regular backups and updates to WordPress websites
- Test sites to ensure functionality
- Light web development - Preference given to those who know enough HTML/CSS to make light code changes
Knowledge – Skills – Abilities:
- Great customer service skills: Phone & Email
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and timelines
- High attention to detail, with the ability to check own work to verify thoroughness and accuracy
- Entry Level Web Development (PHP, HTML, CSS, jQuery) or ability to learn quickly

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position reports to the General Manager. This position does not require any team member supervision.
Work Environment: This position is Work Remote but employee must reside in Wisconsin
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8-5, with some flexibility in start and end times. Exact hours may vary based upon the needs and requirements of customers.
Travel: Rare, although occasional regional travel may be required during the business day.
Required Education and Experience:
- Experience using WordPress websites
- Customer Service Experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 2 Years Customer Service Experience
- Experience with WordPress websites
- Experience in a collaborative, team environment
- Degree in, or pursuing a degree in, website development
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- People engagement skills, necessary to build rapport with internal team & prospective clients
- Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.
- Ability to work independently; manage multiple simultaneous tasks and responsibilities.
